Who We Are:
About The Pathway Blog’s founder
Hello!
Ben Wolf is the founder and editor of The Pathway Blog, a long-form interview platform featuring conversations with policymakers, journalists, economists, and public intellectuals across foreign affairs, economics, law, and public policy.
The project grew out of his interest in how people actually build careers in public-facing fields, and how the realities of those paths often differ from the way they are described to students. Through in-depth, open-ended conversations, The Pathway Blog focuses on professional trajectories, key decisions, and lessons learned over time, with the goal of making experience-based insight more accessible.
Ben is an Altman Scholar at Tulane University, where he is pursuing a B.A. in Political Economy and a B.S.M. in Legal Studies in Business, with additional study in history and French. His academic and professional interests include foreign affairs, economic policy, law, and the intersection of public institutions and decision-making.
Alongside editing The Pathway Blog, he competes on Tulane’s traveling debate team, writes for the Tulane Journal of Policy & Political Economy, and works as a debate coach in New Orleans.
About The Pathway Blog
The Pathway Blog is a student-led platform dedicated to exploring diplomacy, public affairs, and governmental leadership through in-depth conversations with the people shaping world events. Our goal is to create accessible, high-quality interviews that help students understand global issues—and the career paths behind them.
This project is driven by a belief that students deserve direct access to the insights, experiences, and lessons of those working on the front lines of global decision-making. Through Pathway, we strive to create a space for curiosity, dialogue, and career exploration.
If you are interested in speaking on the Blog, or would like to recommend someone to have on, our contact information can be found here.
